will host a 5A Softball Regional to be completed by Oct. 10th (per
OSSAA web site 9/29/2009) --

Collinsville
had the bases loaded in the 4th inning and couldn't get a run on the board. Grove
had the bases loaded in the 1st inning and failed to score.
Kristina
Shearer scored the final Collinsville run in the 6th.
Randi
Gilmartin (#19) put Collinsville ahead in the 6th inning 2-1 with this score.
This
7th inning Marysa Trost double almost dotted the "i" in the Schultheiss
sign. Rachel Pitts had a single off the wall in the 5th that led to Collinsville
tying the score at 1-1.
The
final game scheduled for Thursday Oct. 8 has been rain delayed with the Lady Cards
needing 1 more win (over) Grove for a ticket to State. I'm just finishing this
page ~3:45pm Thursday and the hard rain continues. -- Ted
