Wilson First Graders Thanksgiving Play

-- Submitted by Lee Ann Due (11/24/2009)
Mrs. Cornett's 1st grade class learned about Thanksgiving this month and how it all began. Her students presented a Thanksgiving play to parents and staff about what they learned. The students represented pilgrim and Native American men and women. They told a story of harvesting for corn and hunting for turkey for the first Thanksgiving feast and how everyone cooperated to gather for the feast. Mrs. Cornett's students did a great job performing their play and everyone enjoyed the performance!
