Donnie Smithe, Assistant Manager of Sherwin-Williams Co, and Cheri Buschmann, Program Director of Collinsville Downtown, Inc. |
From:
Cheri Buschmann Date: March 15, 2009 Re: Immediate Release Recently, Sherwin-Williams Co. supported a Collinsville Main Street building renovation project by donated paint for the interior of a historic building located just east of Collinsville City Hall. The building, built back in the 1920s was once a grocery store and meat storage facility. Through generous donations from community members and help from local businesses like Sherwin Williams, this building will reopen this spring and be the new home of Collinsville Downtown, Inc. |
Ted Note: I don't have the exact date the building was completed but am pretty sure it was already there when the City Hall building was under construction in 1913. |
