Kelly and Michael Anderson
Mr. Wright:

We thought you might be interested in receiving this information. Our son, Coach Kelly Anderson, Collinsville High School teacher and coach, received his Master of Arts Degree in Education Leadership from Southern Nazarene University on May 17, 2008, in Bethany, OK. He is shown in the photo with his son Michael.

Also, Kelly's wife, Cathy Anderson, received her Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Northeastern State University earlier that same week. Cathy is shown in the photo with her proud "boys," Kelly and Michael.

We are proud of them both for their accomplishments achieved while being focused parents of Michael and his sister Laci, as well as working full time with Collinsville Public Schools.

Downtown Main Street Improvements
Curbing and sidewalk progress continues at 10th & Main (the east end of the funded 2 block streetscape project). This work is on the north side of Main while the south side of Main between 10th & 11th still has the old sidewalk.
On the west end of the project, the initial brick pavers were placed Friday (May 30th) across the former 12th Street (now a plaza adjacent to City Hall). A similar 2 foot wide run of pavers will span the length of the 2-block project when completed. (Previous Coverage)
