This view of downtown Collinsville (from the roof of City Hall Saturday) shows a portion of the competing cars, vendors, and spectators. The kids zone was to the west out of this view and most of the motorcycles were parked further east and down several side streets.
KJRH Channel 2 gave the Collinsville event some early morning promotion including an interview with a character from the "Psychopath Haunted Attraction".
U.S. Congressman John Sullivan was one of the many 'bikers" in Collinsville Saturday. Sullivan was one of the celebrity judges for the event.
Jennifay Nichols (& her little sister) entertained at the plaza (near the future home of Collinsville Downtown Inc.) She is Collinsville's Miss Outstanding Teen. The "Collinsville Idol" competition was cancelled with too few entrants. The downtown streetscape construction was a minor event distraction, but gave a preview of better things to come to a large number of residents & visitors.
Long View -- the upper left portion of this photo from atop City Hall shows traffic on the new Main Street Bridge in addition to the downtown activities.
