Oklahoma Legends Softball
This is a picture of the Oklahoma Legends. They played in a tournament this past weekend and came in third. There are girls from Broken Arrow, Tulsa, Porter and Collinsville on the team. The two Collinsville girls are Kristina Shearer (Mighty Mouse) and Kassidy Murphy (Butch). These girls played very hard in the heat and we are so very proud of all of them. They are at Nationals this week in Broken Arrow. Hopefully we will have GREAT news to give you at the end of the week.

Recycle Paper At Library
The Collinsville Library can earn a $1,000 by recycling 37.62 tons of paper this summer. From May to mid July we have recycled a total of 18.40 tons. SO...we have our work cut out for us. By the end of August we need to recycle another 19.22 tons. Abitibi recycles newspapers, newsprint, junk mail, office papers (if shredded put in a plastic bag), catalogs, magazines, and any other type of paper. They cannot recycle cardboard or phone books.
We would really appreciate your help with this project. Now would be a great time to clean out your files, toss those old magazines and catalogs and recycle. Not only will you be helping the library but more important, you will be helping our environment.

Stop by your library and join the Summer Reading Program or bring in your completed forms for lots of great coupons, prizes and a chance to win big prizes at the end of the summer. For more information call The Collinsville Library at 596-2840.
