Round Up Club Royalty

The Collinsville Round Up Club has officially crowned their 2008 Queen, Princess and Sweethearts for 2008. Ms. Shelby Jones will be representing CVRUC for the second year. There is no doubt that this young lady will do a fantastic job for the club in 2008, last year she not only represented Collinsville, but she also held the title of CRRA Queen, Will Rogers Stampede Teen, 1st Runner Up Cavalcade Queen, and Tulsa State Fair Round Up Club Queen. Shelby is an outstanding competitor with a heart of gold. We are proud to call her our Queen once again.

Our 2008 Princess is Makayla Wren of Coweta. Although her family is relativly new to the club they have been a tremenous addition to the group. Her parents, Brandon and Tabitha have jumped right in and worked as hard as anyone to see the club grow and prosper. Makayla can sing like an Angel and loves to ride horses. We believe she will make a wonderful representative for the club and the community of Collinsville.

2008 Sweethearts are Mattie Jones, returning from last year. She loves parades and riding horses. We are thrilled to have her with us again. Joining us as well is Maddy Wren of Coweta who has made a great addition to our Royalty. Full of life and ready for anything, these young ladies will be terrific assets to our Royalty group.

We hope that the people of Collinsville will come out to watch our Playdays and attend our Rodeo coming this August 15th & 16th. We also have a couple of Horse Shows planned for this year as well as other functions, such as taking our young members to the nursing home on February 10th for a Valentines visit. Come out and visit CVRUC members and enjoy a meal at the Collinsville Stock Yards Concession every Saturday from 8am to 2pm. Check our website for event dates and times www.cvruc.org.
