Collinsville Girls Slip From Winners Bracket
Play Again Saturday
A non-call (on contact with Kaycee Donelson on a drive to the basket with Collinsville within 3 points late in the 4th quarter) appeared a turning point as the Collinsville girls' rally fell short. Collinsville had trailed by 13 (at 24-37) with 3 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter but had closed to 45-48 with 3 minutes left in the game.
Collinsville's girls watched Purcell's girls hold off Bishop McGuiness in double overtime in the early afternoon game Friday. The Lady Cards hoped at the time it would not be necessary, but their evening loss to Weatherford set up a repeat game with Purcell 6:30pm Saturday at Choctaw.
