Wade Whitlock and Frank Moreland size up the hole and the leaking water pipe in the 1100 block of West Main Friday afternoon after digging to locate the exact break in the line (above). Frank and Wade took their turns in the hole before it was repaired and refilled.

Iraq Bound
Julie Dermody's brother (Richard Hines) and her cousin (Michael Hines) both CHS grads will be on their way to IRAQ by Christmas 2006. They and over 140 other men and women from the Oklahoma Army Guard left for Ft. Dix early in September. There are receiving training and briefings on their objective prior to deployment. The paper recycling bins at the Library have been emptied since this photo from last week. -- Ted 9/25/2006
Susan, Is there any message for the public about when the paper recycle bins at the Library may be ready for use again? -- Ted (9/19)
One was emptied yesterday...they have had trouble finding a driver ... hopefully they will be back today to empty the other bin. So sorry for any convenience. -- Susan Babbitt (9/20/2006)

The City Commission Post 4 seat was vacated by Brad Overholt at the September 18th City meeting.
