These 6th graders listened to Bob Wills and Johnny Cash tunes by "Johnny and the Oklahomans".
These students played bingo after lunch in the Library meeting room downstairs.
Dee Sallee was signing copies of her combination family history and recipe book at the Library Thursday.
"Mother Goose" entertained the kids at the Library.
Kathleen Morrow displayed the branding iron from the "Lazy E" Ranch (portions of which are now the Cooper Ranch west of Collinsville). Kathleen's grandmother (Lucile Ellingwood Morrow ... long time Collinsville school teacher and columnist) grew up on the Lazy E which was also known as the Ellingwood-Brown Ranch.
Kathleen is working to preserve the Morrow Home Place.
The Collinsville Patchworkers were represented at the Library .
Just months before statehood Collinsville was busy with livestock shipped from the Lazy E and other local ranches.
