All persons interested
in attending the Special School Board Meeting for Collinsville Public
Schools, Independent District I-6, should make plans to attend the meeting
at the following date, time and place to wit:
Date: March 10, 2006
Time 12:15 p.m.
Place: Education Service Center, 1119 West Broadway
Collinsville, OK 74021
The following is
a list of business to be conducted by the Board of Education at the
above scheduled meeting.
NOTE: The Board
of Education may discuss, vote to approve, vote to disapprove, vote
to table or decide not to vote on any item on this agenda.
1) Call to Order.
2) Roll Call of Members: Joe Hampton, Memory Ostrander
and Donna Sears present. Ted Clark and Wendell Johnson could not attend.
3) Discussion and Vote to Accept Audit for FY 2005 from Kerry John Patten,
CPA, School District Auditor. -- The auditor reported
everything was in order. One minor suggestion for a Title 7 accounting
practice has already been implemented. The board approved the audit
report.
4) Discussion and Vote to Approve 2006-2007 School Calendar. --
the board approved two separate calendars. One with trimesters for the
high school only and one with semesters for all other grades. The start
/end dates, breaks and holidays are the same for all students. The first
day of classes will be August 17, 2006 and the last day of classes will
be May 24, 2007.

Feb. 16, 2007 ends the second trimester

Dec. 19, 2006 ends second quarter (& first semester)
Mar. 9, 2007 ends third quarter
May 24, 2007 ends fourth quarter (& second semester)
4) Adjourn.
