There were a few bright spots for the Junior High Cardinal wrestlers as Jarred Billips (above at 152 in light blue) and Bryce Fulton (below) got falls over their Vinita opponents. I arrived too late for a photo of Jeremy Young's fall just 48 seconds into the first match. Those 3 Collinsville pins accounted for the only team points as the junior high final was 18-55 in Vinita's favor.

Jayce Crowder (at 134) didn't get a win, but he did break a string of 7 straight Vinita pins in the junior high portion of the dual.

Jerry Harker (in red) and his Vinita opponent (at 125 in the high school matches) each had the other in trouble but Jerry fought through his near fall below and won 11-3.

Note: I left after the junior high matches to cover the City Meeting in the "new" City Hall and missed the first 5 high school matches. Devin Peugh had won 3 team points for Collinsville in his 119 pound match. Harker's 4 team points above were the only other CHS points in a 7-62 loss to Vinita. Clint Swango did not wrestle. -- Ted
