Collinsville
City Manager Jim Whitlock passed away Monday March 28th of an apparent heart
attack. Bob Wolfram was named acting city manager in an emergency meeting Monday
evening. Whitlock had been hired at the Dec. 6, 2004 City Commission meet and
began his duties here in January 2005. Jim came here as city manager at Mannford
and had been Broken Arrow's city manager (for 16 years) and Claremore's city
manager also. Jim had 40 years of public service experience. Jim's son Steve
was Collinsville's city manager in 2000.
