Hogs 'N' Hot Rods Prep

The Friends of the Collinsville Animal Shelter (FOCAS) will be selling t-shirts at the Hog 'N' Hot Rods festivities this Saturday (June 11th) to help raise funds for the new shelter to built at 156th St. N. and 129th E. Ave (i.e. 5th St). L-R: Bryan Barnett, Donna Alcorn, Marlene Spicer and Susan Babbitt displayed the shirts Wednesday at a meeting for the group. (Related Story)
City crews were swapping out the Chamber of Commerce banners Wednesday June 8th (from the red to the blue) for a fresh summer look.
Free Landfill Day -- June 25, 2005

June 8, 2005 Collinsville, Ok. (Press Release)

The City of Collinsville is sponsoring a Free Landfill Day for Collinsville residents on Saturday, June 25, 2005. Collinsville residents can dump one pick-up truck full and/or standard trailer size of non-hazardous waste at the Quarry Landfill from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Quarry Landfill is located on 46th Street North approximately 1 ½ miles east of U.S. Highway 169. Residents should enter the second fill site located on the right hand side of 46th St. N. All Collinsville residents must show a valid I.D. and their most recent Collinsville utility bill in order to dump for free.

No hazardous waste will be accepted (i.e. motor oil, paint etc…). Citizens cannot dump the following items:
air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers and computer monitors. Additionally, tires will be accepted; however, there will be a charge to the customer of $2.00 per tire.

If you need to dispose of hazardous waste, please contact The M.E.T at (918) 584-0584 or go online at www.METRecycle.com for more information.

Library Murder Mystery Tickets
Just a reminder - There are less than two days left to purchase Murder Mystery Dinner tickets and discounted Season Ticket packages. These tickets are only on sale until 5:00PM Friday.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door ONLY if you call 596-2840 and make reservations before 5:00PM Friday. You may also make ticket reservations by replying to this e-mail before 11:30PM Friday.

One more note: We have already sold over half of the available Advanced Seating tickets for this year's gala. If you would like advanced seating, you might want to purchase these tickets during the next week or two.
