| Cold (but dry) weather has allowed good progress on the middle school addition on the block between Center, 14th, Spring & 15th Streets. The base of the wall on the north end of the new building is taking shape (above). The heating? / cooling? units arrived a few weeks back (below). |

(my "assistant") at the Newspaper Museum and website has been
staying close to the space heater (and under her towel) the past few weeks
as I've been having heater problems. Today was nice enough outside (about
60 degrees) to open the door and let some of that "warm" air

| CHS Basketball Update: After the first round of games in the Caney Valley Tournament the girls won a decisive victory over the Copan Lady Hornets by a score of 58-28. The boys played Monday night and beat Nowata soundly by a score of 56-36. The girls resume action at 5:20 pm on Thursday night and the boys play at 5:30 pm on Friday night. If both teams win they will play in the finals on Saturday night back to back starting at 7:00 pm. GO CARDS! -- Cory Slagle -- Jan 19th |
