Collinsville Plays at 2:45pm Thursday -vs- Winner of 1pm Miami/Jay
Note: Overlaps Collinsville Volleyball Regional Game Starting at 2:30pm Thursday
Rebyl Richardson took this Miami foul popup for an out in the first inning.
Hillary Brown kept this grounder from reaching right field and made the throw to first from her knees in the 5th inning.
Amanda Bolien almost got the ball to first base in time to get the Miami batter (from the cow field.)
Taylor Whisenhunt heads to third and onto to home where she just avoided the tag to score Collinsville's 2nd run on a double by Hillary Brown in the 5th inning.
Hillary Brown had a busy afternoon at second with several putouts. She flipped this ball to shortstop Taylor Whisenhunt for an attempted putout at first.
Kelli Dunagan pitched both games Wednesday and had at least 11 strikeouts in the Miami game
(I don't have official stats) and struck out the side against Jay in the 3rd & 5th innings. One more Regional win (Thursday) would send the Lady Cards back to the State Tournament.
