Cards Headed to
State Tournament
Hillary
Brown scored Collinsville's first run on a Kelli Dunagan double in the 1st inning.
Third
baseman Danielle Kern made the throw to first to end Miami's 2nd inning.
Danielle
Kern was out at first but her sacrifice bunt moved Amanda Bolien safely to third
base in the 2nd inning.
Hillary
Brown was tagged out trying to reach second base in the 2nd inning with Collinsville
up 3-0.
Miami
turned a single, single, and a double into 2 runs to tighten the game at 3-2
in their half of the 4th inning.
"Super
H", aka Hillary Brown, pauses at 2nd base after delivering a 3-run double

Ali
Schultheiss (left) led off the 5th inning with a single and started a 5-run
inning for the Lady Cards. Katie Pellitier (above) brought in 2 runs with a
single to cap off the 11-2 score.
The
Lady Cards celebrate after sweeping the 4A Regional Tournament in this submitted
