Cleveland
Spoils Homecoming 10-13
QB
Tyler Chronister stretches to pick up a first down on the Cards first possession
of the second half. Tyler reached Cleveland's 31 yard line on a 4th & 2
play. The Card drive stalled at the 25 yard line and a field goal attempt was
short at 5:36 of the 3rd quarter. The majority of Collinsville's offensive yards
for the evening came on carries by #30 Lance Kite and #22 Nick Rabbit.
Cleveland
scored the only second half points on this 3-yard TD run with 8:26 left in the
4th quarter. The Cleveland drive from their 44 yard line was aided by two Collinsville
personal fouls. This gave Cleveland the lead at 10-13 following the extra point
kick. Cleveland's first half points came 3:34 minutes before half on a short
run.

After
Cleveland took the lead the teams traded punts until the Cards last drive
with Cody Brown catching a pass at the 45 yard line with 43 seconds left
in the game. The next two Card passes were incomplete before Cleveland's
#7 intercepted with only 30 seconds left. |

Lance Kite picking up some of his first half yardage against Cleveland.
According
to my unofficial notes, the interception on the Cards last play was the game's
only turnover. -- Ted 4am Sat
