Quarterback
Tyler Chronister scored Collinsville's only touchdown (on 4th and 4) at 8:54
in the second quarter to put the Cards up 10-0. The Cards first points came
on a Travis Blaskey 24-yard field goal at 7:13 in the first quarter. These Cardinal
scores came on their first two possessions of the game.
Cleveland
Spoils Homecoming 10-13
Collinsville
came close to scoring on all three of their first half possessions as they drove
within Cleveland's 5 yard line just before halftime. On 4th and 1 the attempted
field goal snap ended up in Travis Blaskey's hands instead of the holder's.
The Cards had to settle for a 10-6 halftime lead.
Collinsville
applied several crushing tackles on Cleveland during the game. This play was
in the 3rd quarter.
All
the cheerleaders who participated in this summer's cheerleader
clinic performed at halftime.
The
Collinsville Crimson Cadets (who scored all I's at the OSSAA Regionals (at Skiatook
Wednesday Oct. 13th) performed their "Fan Fare for the World" show
at halftime.
