the minutes of the March 8, 2004 Special Session of the CMA: The $49,420 bid
by Ark Wrecking was accepted for debris removal and structural stabilization
of City Hall. The first phase will be stabilization.
Building
has been out of commission since the Dec. 1, 2001 fire.

At Last!
More than two and 1/3 years
after a fire forced all city functions from the historic City Hall building,
the process begins to start restoring the building. Ark Wrecking began unloading
stabilization poles and symbolically replaced the large "Watch Us Rebuild"
banner with their own Ark Wrecking banner March 19, 2004. The bid was approved
March 8, 2004 by the Collinsville Municipal Authority for cleanup & stabilization.
