Collinsville quarterback Tyler Whitaker was sacked on this play in the second quarter.
Collinsville punter Adam Thomas was called on several times as the Oologah defense did not allow many Cardinal drives.
Whitaker looks to pitch but that option was covered also.
This was as close as Collinsville came to scoring with Whitaker's pass (to the back of the endzone) just inches beyond Ricky Rimpley's reach. Looks like it would have been tough to hang on anyway with Hill's arm is hooked around Ricky's. This was on a 3rd down play with 4:01 left before half time.
Collinsville also came close on this fourth down pass attempt which Cody Brown was unable to reach. Oologah took over on downs at the Card 15 yard line with 3:55 left in the 1st half. A few plays later Oologah scored on a 71 yard fake run then pass play. Oologah also missed a 42 yard field goal attempt before the half. The half time score was 0-23.
Another missed opportunity for the Cards just before half time, as this receiver couldn't make the catch.
The Collinsville Crimson Cadet Band performs at half time of the Oologah-Collinsville game Friday night. Saturday (Oct. 4th) they will compete in Union's Renegade Review. Next weekend (Oct. 10-12) they will be in St. Louis for BOA competition.
Oologah Homecoming Royalty: Queen Kara Snider and King Josh Tally.
This Cardinal Cheerleader appears ready to climb the lightpole.
