2004 Activities:

The Friends of the Collinsville Library take great pleasure in inviting you to their 1st Annual Murder Mystery Dinner. The event starts at 6:45 PM on Saturday March 27th, at the Collinsville Library, 1223 W. Main, Collinsville, OK. Attire is dressy casual, black tie or anything in between. (Guests are asked to dress as if they are attending a Hollywood movie premiere.)

The Murder Mystery features a cast of local volunteers. The Script for the evening, a spoof of the movie ED WOOD, was written by Haley Productions (www.haleyproductions.com) and is titled FINAL CUT.

The story is as follows: Director Eddie Cheek is looking for backers for his new movie, THE ZOMBIE WAS AN ALIEN, so he's throwing this gala shindig for interested parties and you are invited. In return for financing his motion picture, Mr. Cheek will put you in his movie. It's a killer proposition so be there!

The Murder Mystery is served up with a complete meal. Guests will start the evening off with a variety of appetizers and mock champagne, followed by an Italian dinner featuring salad, bread, two kinds of pasta, and a vegetable. And finally, a variety of desserts will be served along with the solution to the mystery.

Tickets are $25 each and are available for purchase at the Collinsville Library. Tickets must be purchased in advance for this event, as seating is limited. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Collinsville library and are used to fund events at our local library branch.

The Friends of the Collinsville Library (F.O.C.L.) is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to promoting and sponsoring events at our beloved Collinsville Library. If you are interested in joining The Friends of the Collinsville Library, memberships are available for $5 for individuals, $10 for families, $25 Donor, $50 Patron or Corporation, $100 Benefactor and $250 for Lifetime membership (individuals only).

Please call 596-2840 for further information.
