I assume Jerry Pykiet took his city commission seat at the May 21, 2018 meeting, but I skipped to make an early arrival at CHS graduation ... so this June 4th meeting was my first change to capture Jerry in his new role.

“Understanding the Role of Elected Officials”

at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Collinsville City Hall Commission Chambers, located at 106 N. 12th Street, Collinsville, Oklahoma.

5. Presentation of MESO 2017 Safety Award to Collinsville Electric Department. -- Another 10,000 hours without a reportable safety/injury issue earned the Collinsville Electrical Department another award from MESO.

6. Consent Agenda (A-D)
All matters under “Consent” are considered by the City Commission to be routine and will be enacted by one motion. Any Commissioner may, however, remove an item from consent by request. A motion to approve the Consent Agenda is non-debatable.

--B) Approval of Claims in the amount of $83,135.43.
--C) Approval of May #2 Payroll in the amount of $52,003.69.
--D) Approval of Budget Amendment #81 $200,000 Safe Routes to School Grant Reimbursement.

8. First reading of Ordinance Number 929. -- First reading only after Commissioner Shafer's no vote removed the option for an emergency declaration.

9. Discussion, consideration and possible action to approve Ordinance Number 929, an ordinance accepting, adding and annexing to the City of Collinsville, Tulsa County, Oklahoma, all that certain real estate being more particularly described hereinafter; providing that said real estate shall be part of the City of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and all persons residing therein, if any, and all property situated therein, shall be subject to the jurisdiction, control, laws and ordinances of the City of Collinsville, Oklahoma; directing notification, and declaring an emergency.

17. Discussion, consideration and possible action to declare 1997 International Fire Truck surplus. Vehicle Identification Number 1HTSDADR0VH459956. -- Approved, will be replaced by truck expected later this month. Will likely use sealed bids.

18. Discussion, consideration and possible action on condition of Fair Barns and drainage in area. -- Approved, Mayor York said this was his agenda item with the intent to get a cost estimate for repairing drainage issues (missing culverts and barn gutter issues). It was also discussed possible folding the repairs into the effort to expand parking with the city owned property to the east (former lumber yard).
