a) Approval of the October 5, 2015 Regular Board Meeting Minutes.
b) Approval of Purchase Orders and Payment of Purchase Orders
FY2016 General and Building Funds, All District Funds Approval
of Budgets, Reports, Allocations and Investments.
c) Approval of the Activity Fund Fundraisers as Attached.
d) Approval of the Ace Remediation Plan FY2016
e) Approval of the Gifted and Talented Plan FY2016
f) Surplus No Longer Needed: HS Floor Scrubber
g) Contract with Collinsville Schools for Outside Evaluator for Special
Ed
h) Approval of Chorus Letter Intent to Travel for Chicago Trip
(i) Approval of Sanctioning Booster Clubs

5) Updates on Building Projects- Brewer Construction --
Chad Brewer reported on these topics:
* High School -- getting things ready to play basketball
-- lots of dirt removal
-- floors down in locker rooms
-- missing bleachers in practice gym (hope to have and install later
this week)
-- Practice gym locker rooms not complete ... lockers in but not all
flooring
-- concessions ready
-- exterior cleanup
-- asphalt loop ... a few sidewalks still to do ... some poured Saturday
-- gravel construction road off Highway 20 will eventually be concrete
... as a final step
-- south (& north) side of Commons will be entry for basketball
events (both gyms)
-- sidewalks all the way from old parking on east side of building
(+ new parking in back)
-- old Commons area is last major work area ...chorus soundwall was
challenge
* Upper Elementary:
-- fixed broken sidewalks
-- fixing small issues teachers have discovered by usage
-- added canopy along sidewalk for Herald dropoff/pickup (80 ft long)
-- some kitchen issues -- cooler/freezer
6) Discussion and Vote to Approve Changes to the Collinsville Board
of Education Policy
Book. -- Approved 2 items (did "first
reading" on others for more review time)
* 4.5 Child Abuse Policy ... update with state law changes
* 4.16 Open Transfer Policy ... OCR language only changes
7) Discussion and Vote to Approve Election Call Resolution , Seat
#1 -- Approved, Seat 1 is currently filled by
Tim Reed who indicated his intention to refile for the next 5 year
term. The election if required would be Feb. 10th, 2016.
8) Proposed Executive Session to Discuss Resignations, Hiring of Personnel,
and Reassignment of Personnel Pursuant to Section 307 (B) (1) of the
Open Meeting Law, O§, so that the Board May Return to Open Session
And Vote to Accept or Not Accept Resignations and Hiring of Personnel.
9) Vote to Convene in Executive Session. --

-- Hamlin: Aspire testing for spohomores -- December retesting
-- Riley (via West): State softball state champs with 8 returning
starters, XC teams in top 10 at state, band doing well and expect
pep band at basketball, will host football playoff (BK)

-- expect mowing bids out next week
-- professional development day Jan. 4th for teachers includes bullying
presentation
-- inspirational speaker at CHS next week -- goal seting
-- MS STEM presentation ... have robots moving ... also got CEF grant
for 3-D printer
-- text book delima ... changing standards ... printed -vs- digital
... rather not be text book driven
-- 1 to 1 (device for each student) has drawbacks
-- staff need professional development ... maybe Google path ... gmail

-- Veterans Day programs at Herald and CUE
-- Junior Achievement investment competition ... 4
