All persons interested in attending the Special School Board Meeting for Collinsville Public Schools, Independent District I-6, should make plans to attend the meeting at the following date, time and place to wit:

The following items will appear on the agenda at the above scheduled meeting to wit:
NOTE: The Board of Education may discuss, vote to approve, vote to disapprove, vote to table or decide not to vote on any item on this agenda.

1) Call to Order and Roll Call of Members.
2) Record of Members Present and Absent. -- All Present: Stout, Ostrander, Johnson, Morrison, & Reed

3) Discussion and Vote to Approve or Disapprove letter of recommendations fromthe high school construction manager of the bids from the July 24th bid opening for construction of the High School Building Project -- - Approved, after the 1st round of bids were rejected (June 2nd) ... Chad Brewer of Brewer Construction, presented the 2nd round of bids (opened July 24th) for the descoped high school project. The bids were split between the site construction work: awarded to D Kerns with a base bid of $329,000 (+alt1 $39K for north parking + alt2 $2500 for 1100 addition square feet in the new commons area) and the demolition work: awarded to CRV Construction with a bid of $81,000. There were 3 other (higher) bids for each bid package. Brewer indicated the contractors would meet Friday and that work could begin Monday August 4th, 2014. The end result will be a new practice gym and a new cafeteria plus rennovations to the old commons and gym hopefully ready for the 2015-16 school year.

4) Hiring of Personnel: -- Approved
--a) Kimberly Butcher - HS Counselor -- from Oologah
--b) Susie Vaughn, HS Girls Basketball Coach -- filling void left by Mark Campbell's death.
--c) David Brown - MS Science and Social Studies Teacher -- Hulbert/Bixby - music background
--d) Tiffany Smith - MS Paraprofessional -- CNA (CHS grad 90 or 91?)
