We are an active part of the communities we serve because they are the places we call home. The members we serve live, work and play in the lush rolling hills of northeastern Oklahoma.

Headquartered in Collinsville, Oklahoma, VVEC is a distribution electric cooperative. We provide electric service to residential, commercial and industrial consumers through more than 32,000 meters and more than 4,500 miles of electric line in portions of Nowata, Osage, Rogers, Tulsa and Washington counties.

Among the 26 electric cooperatives operating in Oklahoma, VVEC is the third largest based on the number of meters served by the co-op. Ninety-two employees cover the Cooperative’s more than 3,200-square mile service territory daily maintaining the electric system and providing consumer-oriented service.

January 2, 2012
To a community of Family, Friends, Churches and City Leaders,

I have faced many challenges and life situations since being elected and taking office in 2012 as Colinsville City Commissioner for Ward III. Effective today January 2, 2012, I would ask you to receive my humble resignation as Collinsville City Commissioner for Ward III.

Collinsville, thank you and God's blessings over one of the greatest communities and cities in Oklahoma. You have been a blessing to me and my family for over 20 years. It has been one of my greatest joys besides being a wife and mother to serve the youth, families, people, and City of Collinsville through ministry and local government. I look forward to always returning to visit my children, family, friends, and seeing the continued growth and great progress I know will be made in the City of Collinsville.

A special thank you to Mayor Stan Sallee, Ward I Commissioner Pam Porter, Ward II Commissioner Bud York, Ward IV Commissioner Dee Sink, and City Manager Pam Polk, you have all taught me well and it has been a pleasure and joy to serve with you all.

Sincerely,
Sherri L. Doolin
