Randy Rogers made this stop on a grounder up the middle and tossed to 1st base for the final out after Duncan had scored 3 runs and threatened with the bases loaded again. Rogers and the Cardinals had gone into the 7th inning with a 7-1 lead. Rogers pitched all 7 innings Wednesday with 10 strikeouts and allowed 9 hits.
Cardinal scoring summary against Duncan:
1st inning
Musto double followed by Olazagasti & Kelley RBI's (2-0).
3rd inning
Olazagasti double followed by Rodriguez and Rogers RBIs (4-0).
4th Inning
Werdell single folllowed by Rodriguez RBI (5-0).
6th Inning
Musto Walk & Rodriquez double followed by Kelley 2-RBI single (7-1).
Pitcher Randy Rogers
Jordan Musto got the Cardinals started offensively with this double in the first inning.
Jose Olazagasti's 1st inning double sent Musto to the plate for the first Collinsville score.
Olazagasti scored the second Cardinal run in the 1st as Kraig Kelley's single is returned from the outfield by Duncan.
Pitcher Randy Rogers
Luis DeJesus doubled off this Duncan runner after a nice catch and throw from right fielder Nick Goza behind the runner who did not tag up in the 5th inning.

Kraig Kelly's 2-RBI single in the 6th scored Tanner Robb (running for Musto) and Peter Rodriquez (who had doubled) for a 7-1 Cardinal lead.
3rd baseman Kraig Kelly attempted to tag out this Duncan runner who eventually scored their initial run in the 6th at 5-1.

Jim Riley reports the CHS Baseball team is scheduled to play Duncan at 4:00 on Wednesday at Union in the 1st round of the State Tournament. -- 5/10/2010
State Baseball Brackets -- per 5/11/2010 Tulsa World
The Collinsville Baseball Cardinals beat Duncan 7-4 to advance in the State Tournament (at Union) to the 4pm game -vs- Bishop Kelly Thursday. They need to win that game to avoid missing the 7pm graduation as the losers game starts at 6:30 Thursday. Randy Rogers pitched the complete game victory against Duncan and went into the 7th with a 7-1 lead before Duncan scored 3 and had the bases loaded before the final out. CHS Baseball Cards beat Bishop Kelly 6-4 & made it on time to CHS Graduation at TU. (Check back for more graduation photos) -- Ted 9:25pm Thursday May 13th -- The baseball team needs one more win over Bishop Kelley to make the finals -vs- the A bracket winner. The baseball team held down the back row at graduation with some mud and grass stains under their robes Thursday immediately after their 2nd win in the State Touney.

The OSSAA will wait until 2:00 Friday before making a decision on playing baseball today or not- per Jim Riley. (2:15pm Update: The Cardinal Baseball game has been postponed until 1:00 on Sat. At Union.) 3:38pm Friday Update: Coach Reeder says the 2nd BK game has now been moved to 6pm at Stillwater Saturday.
9am Saturday word from Coach Reeder that the game is once again relocated ... back to Union at 3pm Sat.
