Oscar Perez (#9) passes ahead to Tony Her (#7) who put the ball in the Bishop Kelley net goal for a 1-0 Collinsville lead at 35:18 in the first half. BK scored three 1st half and one 2nd half goals for a 1-4 win.
Lady Cardinal goalie Alex Mooney had a busy game turning away every Bishop Kelley shot in a scoreless 1st half. The Comets got several shots past her in the second half for a 0-6 win but the CHS team was praised by Coach Schubert for a marked improvement (especially the first half) against a team that has blanked them 10-0 in recent matches.

JV Soccer Report
The CHS Lady Cards JV soccer team won their game Monday night against East Central on their home field. The final score was 6-0 with the Cards scoring 3 goals the first half and adding 3 more in the second. Go Cards! -- Thanks, Debbie Gipson (3/24/2010)
Ted, Will you publish something about the soccer game tonight vs. Bishop Kelly? We are playing the no. 1 team in our rank (boys). Would love to see a good turnout at the field. By the way we are currently ranked #8 in 5A. -- Franci Norris-Harris (3/23/2010)
