#5 Consent Agenda was approved with review and any necessary corrections on two claims; both were just wording in the descriptions. #7 Ordinance #844 providing for the Prevention of Youth Access to Tobacco was approved #8 Emergency effective for Ordinance #844 making it effective immediately was approved #9 Discussion to rezone 20 acres . #10 Motion to waive the first reading of Ordinance was approved; motion to rezone 20 acres from RE Residential Estate District to CS Commercial Shopping Center District approved #11 Emergency effective for Ordinance #845 making it effective immediately was approved #12 Motion to enter executive session to discuss city managers annual contract #13 City Manager contract approved for FY 2010-2011 #14 City Manager report: park vandalized over the weekend, red spray paint on the back of the old restrooms and on the skate park; initials BP; police report was made and when culprit is apprehended they will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law Great turnout for the Park grand opening. We have heard many wonderful comments people love it! Its a tradegy for someone to deface and destroy something so nice that so many have worked so hard on for our city City Planner Jim Dunlaps father passed away last Friday; services are Tuesday OML annual conference is Sept 28-30 in OKC. Please let the City Clerk know if you plan to attend so arrangements can be made Make a Splash! At the Library this Sunday from 3:00 5:00 pm. The firefighters will be making a big splash for all the kids!! Make plans to attend!!

#3 Consent Agenda was approved #4 Westside sewer Expansion bid was awarded to Cooks Consulting LLC in the amount of $819,290.25; engineers estimate was $1.6 million so this is a great bid! In total 9 bids were received ranging from $819,290.25 to $1.6 million; 180 days to complete; possible start date the first part of August; makes completion date Feb 2011
