All persons interested in attending the Regularly Scheduled School Board Meeting for Collinsville Public Schools, Independent District I-6, should make plans to attend the meeting at the following date, time and place to wit:

Date: December 6, 2010
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Place: Education Service Center, 1119 W. Broadway Collinsville, OK 74021

The following items will appear on the agenda at the above scheduled meeting to wit:
NOTE: The Board of Education may discuss, vote to approve, vote to disapprove, vote to table or decide not to vote on any item on this agenda.

1) Call to Order and Roll Call of Members. -- Wendell Johnson absent & Stout, Ostrander, Sears and Hampton present
2) Record of Members Present and Absent.
3) Presentation By The Constituency. -- none
4) Reading of Minutes – November 8, 2010 Regular Meeting. -- approved
5) Approval of Purchase Orders and Payment of Purchase Orders – FY2011 General and Building Funds and All District Funds - Approval of Budgets, Reports, Allocations and Investments. -- approved
6) Discussion and Vote to Approve Activity Fund Fundraisers. -- approved (10 total with 5 for Stuco)
7) Bond Update – Stephen L. Smith Corp. -- No action, just information on current state of bond debt and recommendation that no additional bond issue "for a few years" would be possible without raising taxes. ~$12 million bond debt is outstanding but set to be paid off by 2015. Jordan Smith recommended waiting a year or two and see if additional growth and/or an improved economy changed that projection. The board asked for additional information to see what type of funds could be available with a 10% tax increase (for example). Mentioned as being on the school's wish list (by Terry Due) were a 1st and 2nd grade center and perhaps a gym. Smith recommended waiting as long as possible to pay down some of the existing debt and hope for an improved economic situation.

8) Discussion and Vote to Approve Board Meeting Dates for Calendar 2011. -- approved: Jan 10, Feb. 7, Mar. 7, April 4, May 9, June 6, July 11, Aug. 8, Sept. 7, Oct. 10, Nov. 7, and Dec. 5 (all at 7pm).

9) Resignations: -- approved
a) Michelle Gregory, ECC Classroom Teacher.
b) Carla McGarrah, CNP.

10) Proposed Executive Session to Discuss Personnel, Pursuant to Section 307 (B)(1) of the Open Meeting Law, O§, so that the Board May Return to Open Session with No Board Vote Intended.
11) Vote to Convene in Executive Session.
12) Vote to Acknowledge Return of Board to Open Session.
13) Executive Session Minutes Compliance Announcement.

14) Assistant Superintendent’s Report. -- Lance West reported on these topics
* unknown before I arrived?
* Energy Conservation efforts increase ... will likely be unpluging devices over weekend to further reduce energywaste.
* Reading Sufficiency Plan was prepared by Cheryl Hunt
* PLC(Professional Learning Community) -- team meetings to share information


15) Superintendent’s Report. - TerryDue reported on these topics:
* Successful Veterans Day Assemblies and parade participation by all schools.
* Christmas Parade is Saturday


16) Announcements.
* School lunch account info is still not online but in the works
* Joe Hampton's granddaughter is getting married

17) New Business: (if any, of an emergency nature or that was not known at the time the agenda was posted). -- none
