All persons interested in attending the Regularly Scheduled School Board Meeting for Collinsville Public Schools, Independent District I-6, should make plans to attend the meeting at the following date, time and place to wit:

1) Call to Order and Roll Call of Members.

2) Record of Members Present and Absent. -- all present

3) Presentation By The Constituency.

4) Reading of Minutes – July 12, 2010 Regular Meeting.

5) Approval of Purchase Orders and Payment of Purchase Orders – FY2011 General, Building and Building Bond 2010 Funds and FY2010 General and Building Fund Reserves and All District Funds - Approval of Budgets, Reports, Allocations and Investments.

6) Discussion and Vote to Approve Activity Fund Fundraisers.

7) Discussion and Vote to Adopt a 2010-2011 School Year Policy of Not Less Than 1,080 School Hours.

8) Discussion and Vote to Approve Policy Changes for Elementary Student Handbooks.

9) Discussion and Vote to Approve School District Accreditation and School Improvement Status Report from the State Department of Education.

10) Discussion and Vote to Amend FY2011 School Calendar.

13) Declare Surplus and Not Longer Needed by the District:
a) Sun Tune-up Tester – Transportation.-- approved

14) Bids and Purchases: -- approved
a) Transportation Bid for FY2011. -- Herb Weaver's State Farm Insurance for all school vehicles
b) Paper Bid for FY2011. -- Admiral Express Office Supply (BA)
c) Custodial Supplies for FY2011. -- multiple vendors from detailed spreadsheet for supplies for day janitors' use
d) Janitorial Services for FY2011. -- Multi-Clean (same as last year) ... which uses their own janitorial supplies
e) Grounds Maintenance Services for FY2011. -- Steve Branen for most school properties except athletic fields.

17) Assistant Superintendent’s Report. -- Lance West reported on the following topics:
* Local Vo Ag truck bids not returned yet
* Alternative Learning Center (Washington) ... new carpet, skirting, subfloor repairs
* Part of old sewer line replacedat HS.
* Edit Software (paid with title II $'s) should help test scores
* School messinging system ... about 2 weeks from operationsl (including attendance calls)
* Preventative maintenance contract ... including chilling tower at MS
* New storage building for slab near baseball field planned
* New (centralized) enrollment center has worked well from all early reports
* Signs up at 9th Grade Center and Vo Ag buildings at CHS

18) Superintendent’s Report. -- Terry Due reported on the following topics:
* Grounds and buildings in good shape ... want to keep them that way
* Won't know enrolment totals til classes atart ... anticipate need for additional Wilson teacher
* Rita Pate reported on the state funding situation ... already down $412K from last year's pace
* New sound system at CHS gym
* Tulsa Tech Classes for Collinsville students (at Owasso) being explored. A meeting was held at CHS Monday (concurrent with this boardmeet) for parents and 9th grade students interested in the pre-engineerng courses. Collinsville is not considered "large enough" to "make" complete classes on their own by Tulsa Tech. Former CHS teacher LeonHadley will be the instructor at Owasso.

19) Announcements.
