Dylan Weabe Awarded
Outstanding Citizenship Award

For the past 21 years, a group of 24 area young men are identified and selected from the Junior Class of High Schools located in the Greater Tulsa Area and presented with the National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution’s “Outstanding Citizenship Award.” These young men are selected by their respective High School Principal and staff and are honored at an awards luncheon held at the Oaks Country Club.

Dylan Weabe was selected to be the recipient of this award from Collinsville High School. He was presented with the National SAR Citizenship Certificate and Lapel Pin at the awards banquet at Oaks Country Club. His family is very proud of him.

Thanks, Vickie L. Black (5/18/2009)

Ted,
We have two local Collinsville 5th Grade boys that play for the Outlaws 10-under AA baseball team that played in this past weekends Bartlesville Old Time Wood Bat Tournament. The team took second place in the tournament.

Pictured are Josh and Jeremy Arnold from Collinsville. Josh and Jeremy are in the orange jerseys.

If you could post, we would appreciate it!

Thanks, Wayne Arnold (5/18/2009)

I'm submitting photos of both teams. I don't know the names of the Royals players (blue uniforms). [see note at bottom of page added 5/21]

The Hitmen (black uniforms) are as follows:
Front Row (L-R):
Tanner Tairent, Erik Cullen, Jarrett Hayden, Colby Davis, Yonah Tripp
Middle: Justin Sawyer, Josh Ray, Mikey Lester, Drake Rule, Kyle Jackson
Coaches: Jimmy Davis, Erik Cullen, Head Coach Kerry Jackson, Todd Lester

(Submitted 5/18/2009)
The Collinsville Hitmen took 2nd place in the Collinsville 8U Recreational "A" State Qualifier USSSA Tournament that ran May 15th - 17th. The Collinsville Hitmen battled with some very talented teams and were ultimately outplayed 11-12 by the Royals, a competitive Owasso team that won the State Championship last year.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
All of the Hitmen are from Collinsville and go to Collinsville Public Schools. The coaches are great with the boys encouraging and teaching them with a plethora of positive reinforcement. These young men have had a great year so far in the Collinsville Youth Baseball league with only 2 losses so come out and support your hometown baseball league. Let these young athletes inspire you and get your blood flowing as you catch a home game right behind the ECC.
Oklahoma Royals Baseball

I wanted to submit the boys names for the picture that was posted and to give you a little info on our
team.

The Oklahoma Royals are a 7&under baseball team comprised of 6&7 yr old boys from the Collinsville/Owasso area. The Royals were 6&under T-Ball State Champions last year and this is their first year to play coach pitch ball although you would never know that by watching them. We have anexceptional group of boys and through the love of the game and great coaching they bring their "A" game every time they play. Our teams motto is "Positive attitude, brings positive results". We as parents are very proud of our team for their hard fought win this past weekend in Collinsville and would like to thank the Collinsville Baseball League for putting on such a great tournament.
