A. Simonson - Public Information Officer, Tulsa County What: The Tulsa Board of County Commissioners will enter into the first Sister County Agreement between Tulsa County and a foreign government. Who: Present will be 5 elected and governmental officials from the County of Qiyang, Hunan Province, of the Peoples Republic China. Qiyang County is an ancient and mysterious land with more than 1700 years of history, a population of more than 1 million people and rich with natural resources. When: Thursday, July 9, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Where: Tulsa County Administration Building - 3rd Floor - Room 315 This would be a great opportunity to show our support of this first of a kind Sister County Agreement. |
