The Collinsville High School Class of 1959 held their 50th Reunion on Friday June 12. 2009, at the Collinsville High School Commons Area and followed with the Nifty 50s Reunion "Aloha to the Fifties" theme on Saturday evening June 13, 2009 at the Middle School. Much fun was had by all who attended. Our special guest for the evening was our very own Kelsey Cartwright Miss Oklahoma and her family. Also the highlight of the entertainment was music provided by Don Vickers and Susie Grooms along with our own Hula Gals.

Classmates attnding the reunion: John Hall, Eva Mae Tacket, George Gillespie, Ronnie Smith, Linda Cunningham McFarland, Hugh Bryant, Evelyn Kilpatrick Fifer, Linda Smithers Mattox, Barbara Harris Howard, Kay Hart Beck, Virgil Howard, Raymond Williams, Jim Jackson, Tom Leverette, Jay Dee Driskill, Daryle Baltzer, Delcy Troglin Dunham, Twila Landers Davis, Karen Toon Ingram, Roberta Fisher, Darlene Bowman Dunn, Jerry Wasson, Elaine Branen Coulter, Jack Nottingham.

Evelyn "Tunnie" Kilpatrick Fifer was our Master of Ceremonies for Friday and Saturday and one of our classmates, Hugh Bryant, did his famous "Secondhand Rose" for us on Friday ... it was wonderful. We also had music by Don Vickers and Susie Grooms and a wonderful video by John Combs on the history of the Class of 1959 and their families along with our Military and Deceased.

A Labor of Love (A Biography and Picture Album) was presented to all attending classmates by Evelyn Kilpatrick Fifer, Darlene Bowman Dunn, Linda Smithers Mattox who provided the cover page (a picture of the old High School Building with a Cardinal). Delcy Troglin Dunham provided a Gift Bag for each of th classmates. Our dinner was provided by Three Sisters and it was a Hawaiian menu and was excellent.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the evening and awaited the next reunion on Saturday with great anticipation.
