Feb. 19th Drovers Outslug Diamond Cats, 13-10
The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma halted Rogers State’s seven game winning streak with a 13-10 victory in the conference opener at the Hillcat Complex Thursday. The Drovers pounded out 13 runs on 16 hits to take the first game of a three-game series. ... ripped back-to-back doubles down the left field line as the Drovers chased RSU starter Josh Walker from the game. Feb. 15th: Kansas Weslyan ... Kevin Phillips worked a bases loaded walk in the sixth to bring home the final tally and enforce the run rule at 11-1.
Feb. 14th: Kansas Weslyan ...Walker tossed 5.2 strong innings to earn his first win of the spring. He yielded six hits with three strikeouts. Taylor escaped a bases loaded jam in the sixth and pitched around a one-out single in the seventh to keep the shutout intact.
