Kelsey Cartwright -- Miss Oklahoma 2008
Collinsville Mayor Stan Sallee (left) and State Representative Earl Sears (right) officially recognized Kelsey Cartwright on "her day" in Collinsville, Sunday Nov. 2nd. Mayor Sallee read the City proclamation below proclaiming Kelsey Cartwright Day and the support of Collinsville for her reign as Miss Oklahoma and attempt at Miss America in a few months.
Kelsey had plenty of family and friends helping her Sunday as she autographed photos and sold items to support the Children's Miracle Network (which is a requirement for Miss America contestants).
City Manager Pam Polk reported that approximately $1000 was raised Sunday. Miss Oklahoma also made an appearance at the Collinsville First Baptist Church 100th Anniversary celebration Nov. 2nd. Kelsey is scheduled to be back in Collinsville for the Miss Collinsville Pageant (Nov. 15th) and the Collinsville Christmas Parade (Dec. 13th).
