Back For One Year
Barnhardt's Restaurant was sharing cake with their customers as they celebrated one year in their new building (Friday May 16, 2008). This followed a 2006 fire and rebuilding on the same site just west of 5th & Main. Owner Janet Wilson (center) is shown with her staff (Not in photo order: Regina Pevehouse, Wanda Brown, Leah Barnhardt, Wandina Hudson, and Lea Emiffy).
The Collinsville Education Foundation needs your continued support for grants to supplement academics in all Collinsville schools. Thanks to your support last year, the CEF gave more than $19,000 in grants to Collinsville teachers and classrooms. The total is over $107,000 since 1998. The annual golf tournament is a key fundraiser for the foundation. Contact a CEF trustee (listed below) to enter a team or sponsor the June 12th tournament. (CEF)

I had intended to make it out to the kids baseball tournament this weekend but got side tracked each day ... in case anyone has some photos or results to submit? (5/19 update)
Another huge task you won't see online is the photo archive search already in progress for those that have requested photo CDs for individuals. That's gonna take me a few weeks but I will try to post a message every so often on status. If you think you may want that service for your student(s) next school year, let me know before school starts ... as I tend to take more photos for my known "customers". -- Ted
