Approximately 513 Loads Of Brush Sent To The City Brush Yard In One Day
Teams were assigned to each area on this city map
Many of the volunteer filled brush trailers were making their first (of many) trips to the designated city brush dump site on 156th St. North when this photo was taken about 8:35am Saturday Jan. 12, 2008. The pile in the center foreground is the remains of a burn pile from pre-Jan. 12th brush collected. Another hugh pre-Jan. 12th pile was left out of view in this photo but shown below. The new Saturday pile was isolated to allow an accurate assessment by city & FEMA officials.
Some volunteers unloaded manually, others waited for the backhoe assist.
Some of the (Dallas) Planetary crew are back for some followup electrical work and helped with brush Saturday also.
