Maul & Salisbury Won At
Claremore Wrestling Tournament

Michael Maul was named outstanding wrestler of the upper weights and Dalton Salisbury dominated his weigh class on their way to Gold medals in the Claremore Invitational Wrestling Tourament just before Christmas break. The Cards finished 7th out of 22 teams as some of the young wrestlers got some valuable mat time before the break. Conner Nair, Cory Snow, Josh Loftin, Jayce Crowder and Trey Rodgers were 1 match away from wrestling for 3rd and 4th. Michael Maul pinned his opponet in the finals and took home the Outstanding Wrestler Award in the weights from 145-Hwt. Salisbury recieved a
forfeit in his fianls match. It appears that his opponet went on a mission trip over the break and his group left Sat. morning. The Cardinals will be back in action on Jan 6 against Class 3A power Barnsdall at 6:00 in the High School gym.
