Collinsville Led 14-6 At Half But Trailed After Rough Third Quarter Rallied In Fourth Quarter
For 28-21 Win

Lane Coulter (#7) was pressured on this pass on Collinsville's 2nd possession. Jay returned the interception to Collinsville's 7 yard line.

The first of many turnover pairs -- On the first play after intercepting Collinsville ... Jay fumbled into the endzone and Collinsville recovered with over 6 minutes left in 1st quarter. From the 20 Collinsville picked up only 1 yard and punted to their own 40. Jay converted two 4th downs and scored on a 16 yard TD pass with just 45.5 seconds left in the 1st quarter. The PAT kick was short and Jay was up 0-6.

Alex Goosen (#21) returned Jay's kickoff to near mid-field before the end of the 1st quarter.

Lane Coulter handed off to Merin Oakley (#30) with Justin Caruthers (#55) blocking on this early second quarter run near mid-field.

Jay's #4 has just intercepted a tipped Collinsville pass at the Jay 25 yard line (at 10:05 in the 2nd quarter).

Again, on the first play after intercepting Collinsville, Jay fumbled and Alex Goosen returned the ball for a Cardinal touchdown at 9:53 in the 2nd quarter. Kevin Phillip's extra point kick put Collinsville ahead 7-6.

Jay took possession at their 30 following Collinsville's kickoff and on the very next play (above) Kyle Rush (#32) recovered a fumble for the Cards at the 31 (at 9:42 2nd quarter).

Lane Coulter (#7) gained 36 yards on this keeper to Jay's 16 yard line. Two 8-yard Kevin Phillips carries put Collinsville on the scoreboard again and his kick made the score 14-6 with 7:55 left in the first half.

This Michael Pitts (#51) pass rush helped force this incompletion and 4th down with about 6 minutes left in the first half.

Thomas Isam (#88) made this face-to-face tackle at Jay's 34 two play before a long Jay pass play reached Collinsville's 15 yard line with 3 minutes left in the 1st half.
