Education Foundation Funded Academic Supplemental Requests From Collinsville
Teachers
The Collinsville
Education Foundation awarded their annual academic supplemental grants
to the Collinsville Public Schools Friday. The 2007/2008 grant total
($19,485) is the largest in the almost ten year history of the foundation.
This new figure (along with the annual $1000 scholarship to a CHS senior)
puts the foundation's grand total awarded since 1998 at over $100,000.
The Trustees of
CEF encourage all people interested in educating our community's youth
to join the foundation.
The majority of
funds raised this year came from the foundation's golf
tournament & sponsors.
