This 1999 EO Pumper 2674 Fire Truck will be leased from the City of Tulsa in an agreement approved Dec. 3, 2007 by the Collinsville City Commission.
Work continues on the City Annex Building at 1126 W. Main to offer a similar look as the City Hall Building across the future plaza on the closed section of 12th Street. Light fixtures were installed Monday Dec. 3, 2007. Work on the roof including caps and guttering appear complete. Work continues on upgraded doors and windows. The city court moved into the main City Hall earlier this year and the offices of Collinsville Downtown Inc. will be the eventual occupants of the front of the building after interior work is completed. The back of the building will be used for city storage.
Collinsville's Christmas Parade is Saturday Downtown at 11am (Dec. 8th). Several open houses and shopping opportunities will follow.
Joining Santa and other local entries Dec. 8th will be the Library's Elf Mobile and KJRH's Deana Goll and George Flickinger.
The Tulsa City-County Library Reading Roadshow will be in theCollinsville Parade December 8 at 11:00. The elf mobile is a great place for our children to learn about the library and to be introduced to books that will make a lasting impression in their lives.
KJRH's Deana Goll is a true Oklahoma girl! Born and raised in Northwest Oklahoma, she calls Alva home and loves to go back and see friends and family as much as possible. Deana joined the Channel 2 News Team as a general assignment reporter in January of 2005. She now anchors the Channel 2 Weekend Morning show with Meteorologist George Flickinger. Deana graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in journalism.
KJRH's George Flickinger joined the Channel 2 Works for You Weather Team after working 10 years for TV stations in Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas, and also a private meteorologist.
Previously, George was the Weekend Meteorologist at KOKI-TV in Tulsa and was Chief Meteorologist for five years at KTXS-TV in Abilene, Texas.
George graduated from Texas A&M University
An experienced storm chaser, George has photographed many tornadoes including a few twisters at close range. His pictures can be seen at www.flickingerweather.com.

Chamber of Commerce Dec. 6th noon meeting at Library. Election of officers and speaker on status of City projects.
The new laundromat on Broadway just west of 12th Street is likely within a week of being ready for customers.
