Miss Rodeo USA's Visit To Collinsville / CHS Prom Preparations
CHS student who will attend the Jr-Sr Prom this Saturday had a meeting Wednesday to discuss prom details. They also heard from 3 Oklahoma Highway Patrolman and Collinsville's Officer Boggs about the dangers of (illegal underage) drinking and driving.
CHS senior David Chester was one of the students who wore special goggles to simulate vision & motor skill imparement caused by drinking alcohol. CHS Principal Cory Slagle also demonstrated his reduced skills wearing the special goggles.

Caution -- Juniors At Work -- The transformation of the CHS gymnasium and commons area for prom was underway early Friday morning April 13th.

The Junior/Senior Prom entitled "Moonlight and Roses" will be Saturday, April 14th from 8:00pm to midnight at CHS Gym and Commons. The Grand March will be from 8:00 to 9:00 in the HS Gym. This event is where students and their guests enter the gym and are introduced. Family and friends of those attending as well as the community are invited to come to the Grand March. For information contact Debi Whisenhunt or Missy DeLozier at the HS.

Miss Rodeo USA 2007 (from California) was joined on her Collinsville tour Friday by several local ladies from Owasso (and Collinsville) Roundup Clubs. Miss Rodeo USA 2007 (Candice Carper) greeted students Friday morning at Wilson Elementary. She and the other rodeo ladies (below) also visited Herald Elementary. Her visit in Collinsville was sponsored by the three Colllinsville banks and Marilyn Hardacre.
