Ben McCombs (#11) pitched for the Collinsville JV
Jayce Crowder made a diving attempt but couldn't come up this this foul pop-up behind home plate.
Channing Newland (#20) makes the throw from 2nd to 1st base with Anthony Cornelius (#12) backing him up.
Shortstop Randy Rogers made this throw to 1st base.
Randy Rogers doubled in the 4th inning then reached 3rd base (above) on Jordan Pasquail's fielder's choice. Rogers then scored the first Cardinal run on Kyle Bunch's deep fly ball to trim the score to 1-2.
Lane Coulter (#10) took a rip at this pitch in the 3rd inning against Oologah Monday.
Cameron Storm (#13) reached first base safely then second on a throwing error in the 5th (& final) inning. He later scored the tying run.
Catcher John Puckett (#17) and pitcher Ben McCombs (#11) converge on a pop foul in a later inning.
The winning run -- Dylan Weabe (#5) crossed the plate (above) to give the JV Cards a come from behind 3-2 win in the 5th inning. Dylan had reached first base with 2 out and the Cards trailing 1-2. With Storm on 3rd and Weabe on 1st, Ben McCombs (#11) doubled in Storm to tie the score. Jono Nair followed with a single to score Weabe and end the game.
The JV team record is currently 12-2
