Cardinal fans took advantage of the 25c hot dogs during Baseball Fan Appreciation night at the CHS Pat Colpitt Baseball Field Monday.
John Puckett pitched for the JV during the early innings I watched. The 2 Cardinal runs scored in the first inning held up for the final 2-0 score.

Varsity pitcher Jeremy Guest and first baseman David Chester kept this Bristow base runner close at first. Randy Roger and Jonathan Woods also shared mound time for the Cardinals in the first 3 innings I was able to witness Monday. I unfortunately saw three 2-run homers by Bristow and the Cards behind 1-8 in those 3 innings. The Tulsa World listed the final score as a 4-12 loss to Bristow.
Lane Coulter (#10 running for Bobby Shoate) scored the first Cardinal run in the 2nd inning on a Tyler Nair double.
Bobby Shoate wasn't able to hang on this Briistow pop foul but the batter struck out later.
Collinsville hosts McClain here Thursday at 4:30 in District Tournament play.
