Hominy's attempted PAT run after their first TD was stuffed by the Cardinal defense including Shane Goosen (#45) and Kody Compton (#78). The score was 16-6 at 3:39 in the 3rd.
Skyler Smith (#23) scored on this TD pass play from near mid field 32.5 seconds before half time.
Hominy converted two 4th down plays in the winning drive and then scored (above) with 24.3 seconds left in the game for a 16-18 victory that excited their fans as much as it disappointed the Cardinals and their fans.
8th Grade Trainers: Laci Anderson, Jordan Berryman, Shelby Elmore were filling in for the 7th grade trainers who were playing softball 9/14.
