These were just a few of the pumpkins (decorated by CHS students) on display in the HS office.
Middle School students happily make the 2 block trip to the recycle bins behind the Collinsville Library occasionally to recycle paper from their classrooms.
The new track facility at Collinsville High School continues to make progress but is more likely to be completed near the end of the year than the original Nov. 1st estimate. (Previous Coverage)
The steel framework of the new early childhood center (ECC) has sprung up since my previous visit to the construction site adjacent to Herald Elementary.
Students at Herald Elementary listen to Police Officer Boggs Friday afternoon during their "Red Ribbon" program explaining why they needed to stay drug free. There were several other speakers. Wilson Elementary also had a program Friday (as well as schools nationwide).
These Wilson Elementary students were quitely watching a video in the hallway Friday afternoon while some of the Education Foundation's grant checks were being delivered.
Mrs. Fain's 4th graders decorated pumpkins Friday and displayed them for their Herald school mates.
