In Case You Were Wondering ...
(like I was)
On January 10th, in the first 2 seconds of the girls basketball game against Mannford, Katie (Sullivan) jumped to tip the ball and when she landed she injured her knee. So many people are curious about what happened and why she isn't playing, that I thought you might possibly post a little note or something. The injury turned out to be a torn ACL, much more severe than anyone initially thought. She will have surgery on February 1st, to repair the ligiment, unfortunately though for Katie, basketball season is over this year. Her doctor assured us that she'll be fully recovered by August, and ready to play next season.
We appreciate everyone's support and well wishes for a speedy recovery, it means a lot to Katie.

Thanks,
Elizabeth Sullivan (Jan. 17th, 2006)
