Ted Note: with the football meeting and the school board meeting overlapped with the city meet below ... I managed to miss almost all of the city meet. I will try to add a copy of the minutes later when they are available. -- Ted Tuesday noon
The Collinsville City
Commission will meet Monday,
Aug. 7th at 7pm (at the City Hall
Community Room, 106 N 12th Street) for a regular meeting of the
City Commission and Municipal Authority.
Ted Note: with the city clerk position vacant ... I didn't get my normal digital copy of the agenda (again). The official copy of the agenda is posted outside city hall ... and I will just sumarize below.

Collinsville Municipal Authority (Agenda): =====
*CDBG loan/grant approval
documents.
* Resolution identifying a source and an amount of funds to ensure repayment
of the $136,354 loan for the purpose of constructing a new electrical distribution
line to serve Victory Energy.
* City Manager's
report
* City Attorney's report
* Ordinance 787 amending the employee retirement system of the City allowing
fully vested employees the benefit of accured unused sick leave to be counted
towards retirement time.
====== Collinsville City Commission (Agenda): =====
* CDBG loan/grant formal
document approvals
* Ordinance 789 ... to provide that any entity using CDBG-EDIF funded infrastructure
improments has to agree to provide job tracking data as a condition of using
the improvement.
* 2nd amended agreement with INCOG to provide membership for the Cherokee,
Creek and Osage Indian Nations.
* Agreement for the administration of Sales Tax Ordinance by and between the
city and the Oklahoma Tax Commission.
* Purchase of two used police vehicles from the Kansas Highway Patrol at a
cost of $35,045 for both vehicles and all necessary lights, sirens, etc.
* Ordinance 787 amending the employee retirement system of the City allowing
fully vested employees the benefit of accured unused sick leave to be counted
towards retirement time.
* Executive session to discuss renewal or other action on city manager's employment
contract.

One item not
on the new agenda that was tabled from the previous meeting:
* Potential changes to city council ward boundaries
Apparently the "Economic Development Authority" met Friday Aug 4th to discuss/approve "the CDBG loan for the utility line expansion for Victory Energy" based on a posted agenda I was not aware of. -- Ted -- 8/6 |
