Oologah had a chance to break the 0-0 tie in the 6th inning of the varsity game with a single into center field sending the runner from second base to the plate. Cardinal center fielder Lindsay Dawson's throw and Amanda Bolien's tag denied that run. Amanda also made the first put out in that inning with a diving catch of a short pop foul into the backstop.
Kylie Cole pitched the 7 inning shutout over Oologah for the varsity Cardinals here Thursday Aug. 17th.
Lindsay Dawson (#49) and Mariah McElroy (#10) were left on base in the second inning.
Danielle Kern gets the handle on this grounder before tossing to Linsey Curtis at 1st.
Kaycee Donelson scored the winning (and only) run in the varsity's win over Oologah with two outs in the 7th inning on a Danielle Kern single.
Ali Schultheiss reached 3rd base safely in the 4th inning.
Jenny Henley (#17) was pitching for the Collinsville JV softball girls against Oologah Thursday Aug. 17th
Jesse Brown (#9 above) stole second above after getting hit by a pitch to start the 5th inning of the JV game. She later scored the winning run on a single by Sarah Green (#27) who was taking a warm up swing below.
Brittni Schmauss made this bunt attempt in the JV game.
